Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is 4K a documented camera mode?
Yes. The model specifications list 4K at 30 fps plus 1440p, 1080p, 900p, 720p and SD at 30 fps. PC/BYOD operation is documented, but the conferencing platform controls the in-call output; no 4K60 or 1080p60 mode is listed.
Explore this need in the finder →Does Rally Bar 2 document autofocus?
No focus system is stated in the model sources reviewed. PTZ or RightSight framing is not an autofocus specification, so neither strict focus option counts this model.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the shutter physical and integrated?
Yes. Logitech's Rally Bar 2 product specifications list an integrated motorized privacy shutter. The sources do not establish microphone muting when the shutter closes.
Explore this need in the finder →Are microphones built in?
Yes. The specification lists a six-element microphone array with a pickup range up to 7 m (23 ft). Those are manufacturer figures, not an independent room-audio test.
Explore this need in the finder →Does exact U.S. SKU 960-001790 meet TAA procurement rules?
No exact-SKU source reviewed states TAA compliance for 960-001790. Require an exact manufacturer-listed compliant part number and verify seller documentation before procurement.

The Rally Bar 2 route is current in the observed U.S. conference-camera listing, so it remains in the current-reference result set. The status does not imply stock.
Explore this need in the finder →Assessment basis: This source-based review is specific to Rally Bar 2 Graphite, U.S. SKU 960-001790. Logitech’s route, datasheet, technical specifications, compatibility information and model product page establish PC/BYOD camera use and room-system features. I have not used or tested the product, assembled a room, measured its audio or evaluated picture quality.
A meeting-room camera, not a one-person monitor webcam
Rally Bar 2 is designed as a medium-to-large-room video bar. Its computer-facing role is supported by Logitech’s PC and BYOD descriptions and compatibility information for the camera in USB-connected use. That helps resolve whether it can function as a computer camera; it does not change its role into a lightweight clip-on webcam. Its 860 mm-wide body, external supply, wall-mount package, multiple display ports and integrated room audio all point toward a permanent or semi-permanent meeting-room installation. Plan the room, display and cabling first.
4K30, not 4K60
The published camera specification lists a 1-inch sensor and modes of 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 900p, 720p and SD at 30 fps. It also lists 4× HD digital zoom and a distortion-corrected 115-degree diagonal field (103 degrees horizontal and 60 degrees vertical). These are camera specifications; Logitech notes that the conferencing platform determines the in-call output. I found no listed 1080p60 or 4K60 mode. HDMI input/output specifications that can reach higher display refresh rates concern the video-bar/display system, not a 4K60 webcam capture claim.
Integrated six-mic/four-speaker room audio
The bar includes a six-element digital microphone array with a stated pickup range up to 7 m (23 ft), two full-range ported speakers and two high-frequency tweeters. Logitech also describes AI speech enhancement and beam-selection features. The range and processing labels are manufacturer specifications; they do not show how a particular room sounds, and I did not test intelligibility or noise suppression. The array and four-speaker system are useful differences from a camera-only product, but buyers should still check room dimensions and local meeting requirements rather than rely on a headline distance.
The privacy shutter is physical; microphone state is a separate question
Logitech’s model-page specification identifies an integrated motorized privacy shutter. That qualifies as a physical camera cover for the shutter-required option, unlike a detachable lens cap. The reviewed documentation does not establish whether closing the shutter also disables the microphone array. For a policy that requires camera and audio isolation together, verify the device configuration and use a separate microphone mute/control requirement rather than infer one from the shutter.
The exact sources also do not specify the focus system as fixed or autofocus. RightSight-style framing or digital pan/tilt is not a substitute for a lens-focus specification. This camera may meet the resolution, audio and shutter requirements simultaneously, but it cannot be counted for a hard focus requirement on the evidence reviewed.
Check for the missing host cable
The package list names the bar, wall mount, HDMI cable, four screws, four anchors, two mount-angle adapters, power cable and external power adapter. It does not list a computer USB cable. The ports include USB-A and USB-C, but a compatible cable of suitable length still needs to be supplied and verified for the planned PC/BYOD arrangement. Allow for the external adapter and outlet, display connections and mounting surface. A complete display bar package is not automatically a complete laptop connection kit.
Procurement and model identity
The observed product is the Graphite 960-001790 route. Logitech lists other Rally Bar 2 part numbers, including an Off-White variant, but that finish is not covered by this exact image or review. I did not find exact-SKU evidence that Graphite 960-001790 is TAA compliant, so it must not match a strict procurement requirement. Nor does a different SKU in the Rally Bar family establish compliance for this one. Confirm the exact part number, finish, seller package, cable, adapter and supported app before the order is submitted.
Bottom line
Rally Bar 2 earns a place in a room-camera comparison for its 4K30 camera modes, broad specified view, integrated microphones and speakers, motorized physical shutter and computer/BYOD path. Its drawbacks are primarily setup-specific: it is a large powered room unit; the application controls in-call output; the package does not name a USB host cable; and exact focus type and TAA status remain unconfirmed. It is a poor default for a desk webcam shopper unless those room features are genuinely needed. No price, stock or independent testing claim is made here.
