Your choices, kept ordinary

Privacy and finder choices

The finder asks only about webcam features such as video mode, focus, privacy shutter and built-in microphone. Do not put personal or sensitive information into the form. To calculate a shortlist, the browser submits those selected answers to this site's matching endpoint. In the current renderer, a completed set of answers can also be retained in the browser tab's session storage so the finder can restore it while the tab session remains open; use “Clear saved answers” to remove it.

When you follow a result's buying-details link, the fixed central page may carry the selected public question IDs and values in the URL fragment so the page can show your choices and link back to the finder. A fragment is part of the copied address and browser history, even though browsers normally do not send it in the initial HTTP request for the page. It is not a compatibility certificate or proof of what the visitor previously selected. Do not include anything in the finder that you would not want in a copied link.

Opening a BuyerShortlists purchase-detail page does not send your answers to Amazon. Only if you deliberately click its clearly labeled Amazon action does Amazon receive a request and apply its own privacy and tracking practices. The source finder does not send answers to Amazon and does not automatically forward you or accept an arbitrary retailer destination.

The web server and hosting services may record request details such as IP address, requested page and request time to deliver and protect the site. Do not put personal information in finder choices or shared links. BuyerShortlists and any retailer you choose to visit have their own privacy policies; check those before using their services.
